Yesterday was the Westerner Days Parade, and it was also Ty's first parade. I wasn't sure how he'd make out seeing as the parade began just as naptime usually begins. Ryan's Mom came to town at about 8:30 and we headed downtown for the parade route. The parade started at 9:30 but we were towards the end of the route so we didn't see the RCMP marching by until about 10. Ty was wonderful! He watched the floats and marching bands and didn't fall asleep until about three-quarters of the way through the parade. He wasn't fussy at all; just played until he fell asleep in his Grandma's arms. As our trial run was successful, it looks like Ty will be going to his second parade during Peach Fest in Penticton next month!

Fun. I love those firsts with my kids. So glad that you are having fun firsts with Ty. He's so handsome.
