We have season's tickets to the Red Deer Rebels, our local WHL team. Last night, after an 11 game losing streak, the Rebels finally won! The first period was kind of a bore, but then Red Deer had a penalty shot and scored, which I'd never seen a penalty shot at a Rebels game before, and then the game ended up going into overtime and then a shoot-out, which I had also never seen before in the WHL, and in the end, Red Deer won! The shoot-out was really exciting and it was a great way to end such a horrible losing streak. Next up, tonight against Lethbridge. See you there!
