We were supposed to have our carpet and ceramic tile installed in the basement next week, but much to my surprise, they phoned me last Friday to ask if they could come earlier, like this past Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Hell, ya! Today was the big unveiling for the girls, and it was hard to get them to sit still long enough to take pictures (as you can tell from Streaking Sami!) The colour in the pictures is really nothing like the colour in person so don't wonder why we picked those colours because when you're downstairs, it looks fantastic. Now the only thing to be done is the final electrical hook-ups, the light fixtures put on, and the baseboards put on. Oh, yeah, then we have to furnish this extra 1,350 square feet. P.S. I don't think I'll ever see the girls again, they're having so much fun down there!
